Grace Ellen Burroughs, daughter of nationally syndicated poet Ben Burroughs, married a classmate, Mark VanLeuven.

Grace Ellen Burroughs Johnson of Springfield [Oregon] died Aug. 21 of lung cancer. She was 56. No service is planned. She was born Jan. 31, 1952, in Morristown, N.J. She married David Johnson on April 21, 1992 in Reno, Nev. He died Nov. 4, 2006. … She worked as a secretary and as a certified nurse’s assistant. Survivors include a son, Christopher VanLeuven of Morristown; a daughter, Jill VanLeuven of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.
