ROCHESTER – Charles Alexander McDonald, III passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Born May 21, 1951, in Wheeling, W. VA., the son of Charles Alexander McDonald, Jr. and Gene (Porter) McDonald.
Charles grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J. and attended the University of Virginia. He spent most of his life working in Retail Management, where he enjoyed and excelled at working with people. He later taught classes for illiterate adults and GED courses at the Strafford County Corrections Facility. He enjoyed film, history, cars, aviation, reading, and his dogs. He was in the process of writing a novel.
