Donna Woodward Jonik

Donna Marie Jonik of Bala Cynwd, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at the age of 62. Donna was born in Chicago, Ill on March 10, 1951, the daughter of the late Philip and Dorothy Woodward. Donna was the beloved wife of Steve Jonik, loving mother to children Ryan and Jason and caring mother-in-law to Salica. She was the adoring grandmother to Nassir, Ryan and Nyla. Donna is also survived by sisters Genie Creighton (Del), Carol McCabe (Bob), Barbara Labadie (John), the late Kathleen Woodward, Ginger Singer (Charlie) and brother Philip Woodward. … Donna’s leaves her caring friend and honorary sister, Cindy Marzilli. Donna graduated high school from Cherry Hill West in 1969 and attended Camden County and Glassboro State colleges. … Donations in Donna’s name can be made to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Dartmouth, MA, and Sharon Prouty of Cortlandt Manor, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Gail Whitcomb

Gail Eileen Marie Whitcomb of Hatboro, formerly of Cherry Hill, N.J., died Sunday, April 8, 2012, of complications related to fallopian tube cancer, at Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was 61. Born in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Howard J. and Virginia M. Whitcomb, formerly of Cherry Hill. Gail was the wife of long-time partner Scott Liebert, whom she married Feb. 29, 2008. Gail graduated from Cherry Hill High School in 1969. …

Gail was a courageous, intelligent, feisty, forthright, funny, creative, kind, independent woman who cared greatly for her family and many friends. She was especially fond of her grand-nephew, Zevediah ‘Zevi’ Whitcomb, and her cats, Little Ricky and Lucy Lu.

She loved music and the arts, taking many trips with her husband, Scott … Gail had a wonderful memory and was a great storyteller … Her special avocation was collecting and selling country and primitive antiques, of which she had much knowledge.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jan Whitcomb of Niceville, Fla.; her maternal grandparents, Marie and Stanley Ralph; and her paternal grandparents, James E. and Elsie Whitcomb.

Gail’s family wishes to thank The Rosenfeld Cancer Center at Abington Memorial Hospital and Abington Hospice at Warminster for their dedicated, humane and dignified treatment of Gail throughout her cancer journey.
