Brian R. Dixon, 32, of 1400 20th St. N.W, Washington, D.C., died Sunday at the Memorial Division of cancer. Mr. Dixon was an attorney and associate law librarian … at Washington University Law School, from which he graduated in 1979. He earned a master’s degree in library science from Catholic University in 1980. … He is survived by his parents. James S. and Mary Welsh Dixon of Wilmington; a brother, George R. of Minneapolis; two sisters, Jean M. Note: Although the obituaries of Brian and his parents (both in 2004) fail to mention Cherry Hill, articles in the Cherry Hill News establish that our classmate, Brian Robert Dixon, got a scholarship at George Washington University, was the son of James and Mary Frances Dixon, and had sisters Jean and Madalyn.

Family moved to Cherry Hill from Santa Barbara before senior year. Not listed in the yearbook but was among the names of 860 graduates listed in the Cherry Hill News in June of 1969. Lived in Woodcrest, went to USC, according to classmate and friend Frank Schwartz.
